2025 was a year of renewed commitment to strengthening citizen participation, promoting accountability, and advancing inclusive development. Across our
programme areas, ISODEC worked closely with communities, civil society partners, and public institutions to ensure that citizens’ voices remain central to governance and
development processes.
Through initiatives that promoted participatory local governance, research and policy dialogue on natural resource management, and economic empowerment for women and vulnerable groups, we contributed to strengthening community resilience and improving engagement between citizens and decision-makers.
